Privacy Policy

When you use STEM EGT we collect the following data:

• Email address and display name (Google or Apple sign in)
• Your account profile info
• Location data, only for directions to the event area and location based services
• Profile photo and camera images you share
• Push notification token
• Your game scores and leaderboard entries
• Content and files you create in the app and share with the association

We use your data to create and manage your account, deliver announcements and events, give directions to the event area, keep your game scores, improve the app and send you notifications. STEM EGT is a nonprofit association app; we do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.

The app uses the following third party services:

• Firebase Authentication (account sign in)
• Sign in with Google and Sign in with Apple (authentication)
• Cloud Firestore and Firebase Storage (content and account data)
• Firebase Cloud Messaging (notifications)

Your location is accessed only when you use event directions; it is not tracked continuously. Camera and photo access is used only when you allow it, for a profile photo or sharing.

Your data is stored on Google Firebase infrastructure and may be processed on Google's servers, which can be located outside your country. We keep your data only as long as it is needed to provide the service.

STEM EGT is not directed to children under 13, or under the minimum age that applies in your country. We do not knowingly collect data from a child under that age.

You can access, correct or delete the data tied to your account. You can delete your account from the app or by writing to us. See the Delete Account page for details.
